Geography lookup table used for aggregation from 2011 data zones to future UK Parliamentary Constituencies. This file was updated in April 2024.
As a geography reference material, this file contains lookup information showing how 2011 data zone geographic units can be aggregated to future UK Parliamentary Constituencies (UKPC).
Following a review of UK Parliamentary Constituency boundaries by the Boundary Commissions in 2023, the Parliamentary Constituencies Order 2023 was made on 15 November 2023 and came into force on 29th November 2023. The new constituencies will take effect at the next General Election. You can find more information on the Boundary Commission for Scotland's website.

Under the Parliamentary Constituencies Act 2020 the four UK Boundary Commissions submit their recommendations for UK Parliament constituency boundaries to the UK Parliament for final approval, and Ordnance Survey make these freely available in their Boundary-Line product. As part of this process Ordnance Survey align these boundaries with the latest elected administrations, mapped ground or cartography features to correct any minor errors as a result of administrative change due to electoral reviews, or geographical changes such as to the coastline or riverbanks.
In the case of the Boundary Commission for Scotland’s (BCS) recent 2023 Review of UK Parliament constituencies, confirmed by Parliament in November 2023, Ordnance Survey have made minor changes to the BCS recommended constituency boundaries including some (five) constituencies where the BCS had previously recommended no change to the existing constituency boundary.
Following the Ordnance Survey updates, five constituencies have been assigned new S-codes, which are reflected in the April 2024 version of the DZ 11 to Future UKPCs lookup. The new S-codes are:
